IFA Anti-Corruption Networks in Action

After training and formation of a network of anti-corruption crusaders in different counties at the Coast last year, some of the Community Action Team have been actively participating in awareness campaigns across the counties.

Today, the CAT members are actively involved in grassroots activities and events geared towards fighting graft at both the county and national levels.

They are involved in media briefings of Civil Society Organizations (like #StopDistributionofToxicARVS), peaceful and flash demonstrations (like #UnlockOurCountryFlashmob), CAT trainings (like Alidina, Miguneni and Junda CAT trainings) and social auditing exercise on Covid-19 preparedness.

The awareness creation has exposed more residents to the realities of and understanding their rights and the need for standing firm for what is rightfully theirs.
